NATIONAL FASTRAK LATE MODEL SERIES
RACING
When not practicing law, Robert Ireland enjoys racing in the National Fastrak Late Model series. Mr. Ireland started racing as an alternative to playing rugby, and has been racing ever since. In 2006 his rookie year as a Late Model driver Mr. Ireland qualified and competed in the Fastrak national championship held in South Carolina. In the last main event he finished 15th in the race, and his points put him at 26th place in the nation.
Mr. Ireland approaches racing like he approaches law, be prepared before the competition, make good decisions under pressure, and always run for the checkered flag.
If you get a chance to catch a race at the Banks Speedway, Mr. Ireland will be driving the 88I car and his Dad will be in the 88 car.
